How to I reply to someone else's post?
Inside the forum thread on which you want to comment, scroll down to the beneath the last entry and you'll see a text field box. Place your cursor there and type in your reply. When satisfied with your response, click the blue Add Reply button on the bottom right of your screen and your comment will post.
If you response is directed at someone in the thread other than the author of the initial topic, and you want to be sure they see it, preface your comment with @their.username (example @camera-lady). Your response will be show up in their Neighbor Notifications section, or in some cases to their email depending on notifications settings they have chosen.
Can I post a photo or .pdf file of my work along with my comments?
Yes you sure can! Along with entering your text, you'll want to locate the Attach files link on the bottom of the message window (you can add more than one). Clicking that will
open up your computer file browser so you can search and select the photo or .pdf you want to add among your computer files. Once you find it, and click to add it.
You should be back at your entry with the photo/file you added indicated as an attachment. Once you're satisfied with your comments and the files you added, click Add Topic on
the bottom right of the message window and your message will post.
Why do I get an error message when I try to post a photo?
Reduce the size of the photo and upload again. You can go pretty
small as it doesn't need to be a large photo file for it to be seen clearly -- in fact 72-96 dpi resolution is adequate for on screen-viewing.
