Ngā mihi aroha!
We also want to announce and acknowledge our exiting Co-Chair, Dr Teah Carlson, who has been a staunch advocate and
contributor to Ngā Pou Mana over the last few years and has now stood down from her position.
Logan Hamley is the interim Co-Chair that has stood in since Teah's departure. Logan is a Lecturer/Pūkenga at the University of Waikato and studied Clinical Psychology. Logan hails from Ngāti Rangi, Whanganui. Logan has lots of governance
experience and has already been a great addition to the Executive Committee. We thank you for putting your hand up to support this kaupapa e hoa and welcome you to the whare!
To our outgoing Co-Chair, you will be missed Teah, and our leadership team would all agree that you have left us with the most beautiful legacy to continue on.
Teah has always been passionate about the kaupapa of Ngā Pou Mana and continues to challenge systems on our behalf even now that she has left us. We admire your hard work, dedication to the mahi and your activism to decolonise the health and education sectors. You continue to be a guiding light, mentor, friend and whānau member to us
all and we look forward to seeing you make waves wherever you may go.
We wish you all the best on your new journey, and hope you get to have some time to relax before pēpi arrives later in the year.
