Nominations for the Executive Committee
4 of our executive committee members terms are up on the Committee (3 year term). As per our Constitution, if
executive committee members wish to stay for another term, they must nominate themselves and be voted on at an AGM by the membership. 3 of the 4 have indicated they would like to apply to serve another 3 year term.
We are looking for a nomination to the student representative role on the Committee. To meet the criteria the person must be: currently in
some form of study in an allied health field and be under 25 years of age at the time of this application.
Nominations are also accepted from any of our membership, and/or those that have an interest in Ngā Pou Mana. The Executive Committee would encourage people to consider applying if they feel they could make a positive contribution to the organisation.
There are 4 positions up for re-election or election.
Applications are particularly desired by those who have experience in governance, strategy, finance and policy, IT and marketing. We also encourage applications from diverse backgrounds in allied health so that we can ensure good representation across the Executive Committee.
If you are interested in sending in a nomination please email [email protected] for more details.
You
will need to send a one page letter giving a brief overview of why you want to join the executive committee and what you can contribute to the organisation. Nomination letters need to be received by the 4th of October and you must be available to attend the AGM (in person or over zoom) to be eligible to apply.
