I had a fab time at Yellow Edge in early March, showing my concertina sketchbooks for the very first time, normally these
are private places to let rip and play, not something to be seen, but I took the plunge and they were very well received! Â Â Thank you to everyone who popped in.Â
Â
So much so that I was persuaded to sign up for another exhibition there next week (see
poster below).
Â
This is slightly different to an art exhibition - sort of art show meets craft fayre.... Â Â
Â
I will be at Yellow Edge Gallery all day on Monday 3rd April AND Friday 7th April (Good Friday) 10am - 5pm. Â Â
 Â
I would also like to invite you to the PV on Monday 3rd at 6pm where you will get a more personal view and chat with the artists.Â
There will be lots going on and it would be great to see you all!
I will be:
- Showing my sketchbooks - I started during the pandemic and now I am hooked on this way of developing my work.Â
- Showing how to make your own small (or large!) concertina sketchbook - with some freebies!
I will have lots of things available:
- Small concertina sketchbooks - blank
- Small concertina sketchbooks of my work
- Cards: prints, originals and photographs
- Framed and unframed work - including my Forton Series - a group of six A4 sized wooden panels inspired by a summer sketching Forton Lake in Gosport in 2022.Â
