We may have come from different backgrounds and cultures, but there is one thing, stronger than all our differences that binds us all together - our love for fried chicken.Â

As most of you already know, Henry's Chicken was started out of a desire to produce fried chicken with a distinct taste. Henry travelled across North America, stopping at every joint he could find to taste their fried chicken. At the end of his trip, he found out that there was no difference in taste among all the fried chicken he had tasted. They all tasted alike - hard and crispy coating, extremely oily and lacking juices inside the meat. Motivated by this, Henry then conducted a series of cooking experiments to come up with a novel recipe that had never been tried and that was distinguishable from the rest. After doing hundreds of these experiments, Henry discovered a ground breaking method of seasoning and frying - which overturned the traditional ways of frying chicken and provoked new thoughts about the concept of fried chicken.
Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Henry wouldn't let that stop him. In 2020, He opened his first store at Granville St. and 70th Ave. and ever since then he hasn't looked back.Â
