In any case, this will be a short one.

I'm here with some proof to show you the potential of email marketing today. Contrary to popular belief, more consumers are choosing email as their preferred medium of communication with their favorite brands and while some people think the era of email is over, the report below proves otherwise and they've got the evidence.

Every couple of years Mailjet, runs a survey where they ask consumers, to choose their preferred method of communication from a list of options. In 2021, 42% chose email. However, in 2023, ​​​​​preferences for email jumped from 42.0% to 75.4%. Meanwhile, text messaging preferences remained largely unchanged since 2021 while social media took a significant dip. Back in 2021, 50.8% of consumers said they preferred hearing from brands via social media, but only 15.8% felt the same way in the 2023 survey.
