Happy Friday!
We hope the weekend is looking inviting, without too much jostling in stores. Maybe in a few years we can send the robots to jostle each other, while we drink egg nog and whiskey, or
play Animal Crossing. (I have a friend who plays it for hours a day. "It reassures me," she says. I get it. Too much anxiety in the air these days...)
On the job front, I'll share a glimpse behind the scenes at RRR. This happens a lot. We find a great job lead, write it up, do a graphic for it, post it, and it fills in 10 minutes. We delete the post, and
repeat with something we hope will last longer.
When we started in 1999, a job might stay open for days, often because no one believed a WFH job could be real. (We were often accused as scammers, even though we'd verified every job we posted.) In a way, it's easier for scammers today, because the reverse is true: people often assume that all WFH jobs
are real.
(We still do scambusting. Chris is working on another one now. And there's never a shortage. Be careful as you search!)
100+ WFH Jobs at Stanley Black & Decker
Chris was raised on construction sites (her Dad was a contractor), and I've had my share of construction jobs. But if you're not familiar with "the world's largest tool company," someone in your circle probably is. Anyway, it's a big company, and it's got 100+ remote jobs open.
