Have you asked yourself this question?
If you are still able to view my newsletter, I have to say I’m so grateful to have you as part of our community! because your engagement and support mean everything to me! The reason for today’s email is that: I want to share a conversation I was having with a recent client. So,What does "normal" even mean,
right? 👀 I am a believer in God and also I'm human. Wanted to say that clearly first, another thing I want to share is that I have recently found interest in learning about different stories in the bible and how they can share more perspective to what we "lack" the full context of and the difference between: - Your normal vs. somebody
else's because no two souls are alike. The same goes for how you build your business, how you parent your children, how you "create and build your family, and how you connect with others who are a different "normal" than you.
I don't always have the correct answers, but i do have opinions and I will share some of my own experiences
here: - one verse that speaks to what I am trying to share in these emails that I will be sending over the next couple of days.
Having spoken with numerous clients throughout different industries (wedding, digital media, virtual assistants, designers, web developers, influencers, strategists etc. a common thread emerged) Here I am, sitting in my home office (in my living room), and it was raining outside, and I’m intently listening to the words of my client. In her own words, she tells me, "Vee, I'm just so Frustrated." You could sense the tension in her
voice, that feeling of reluctance when she admits, "Honestly, I'm just not thrilled about doing it." She gives me all of her reasons, expecting me to validate that there's No other way.
She was anxious, feeling trapped in a cycle that's anything but sustainable. She was fully aware of it. then I deliver the unexpected response, "Then don't do it." A pause follows, a mix of surprise, and she gives me a small “sigh” of relief across her face. 😏 I reassured her, "It's your business. You get to shape/build it your way."
In a conventional job, normalcy is already defined for you. You have your set hours that
you work, your paycheck is set up weekly, bi weekly or monthly, and your clear-cut duties on documented on either paper or computer via the company that employs you. That's why designing your personal version of "normal" when you're the driver of your vehicle, which in this case I am referring to your “business,” is important.
Truth be told, not everyone craves the opportunity to craft their own normal. The
responsibility can be daunting and it always requires the long route and that’s okay it you have decided to Opt-out of that path, but this message is for those of you that still see the value in your Purpose-driven business. This message is for the select few - like you - who understand that a bit of responsibility is
the price for TRUE FREEDOM... for both you and your loved ones.
I extend this invitation to you TODAY, this week: Design your own version
of "normal." Every action you take today is a choice. Choosing to step outside the usual is also a choice, a BOLD one. Take Jennifer, a client of mine, for example. She chose that path last year, with our agency supporting her each step of the way for at least 3 months, and since she started working with us, she started a blog, her bookings as a service provider have doubled, and her revenue streams have increased. If you need support reducing the overwhelm of a chaotic schedule and getting more structured in your systems and processes to achieve even bigger goals. Whether that’s in the area of: - Business operations - Setting up an evergreen marketing campaign - Planning out your Quarter 4 game-plan - Systems set up - Or CEO days *August + September calendar is now set and ready to go.
