Weber also launched the Searwood pellet grill, which has some great features at an unexpectedly low price tag. It promises direct heat searing and it is designed to work with a number of accessories that make it very versatile.
In addition to a new gas grill, and pellet grill, Weber launched a new griddle called Slate. It's a more premium design than their griddle from last year, with the most
notable feature being a pre-seasoned griddle top.
There was some unexpected news out of Solo Brands this week. Their CEO is out, and is being replaced by Vista Outdoor's former CEO. This news was released in conjunction with them lowering financial guidance on poor DTC sales.
The 2024 HPBExpo is coming next month to Nashville. The annual event from the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association (HPBA) is the biggest for outdoor cooking professionals. Be sure

David B. Knight is a true barbecue entrepreneur. The BBQ Hall of Famer wanted to preserve a historic building, which led to opening a BBQ restaurant and ultimately producing commercial barbecue pits. Southeast Missourian had a great feature on him this week, which is definitely
worth the read.
