Safe and Sound
OSHA designates a week each August to promote
their annual Safe + Sound initiative. Various topics are highlighted each year, with 2023 focusing on mental health and well-being. While full of obvious benefits, remote work is not without its faults. OPM understands the toll remote work can have on the mental health of an employee and would like to provide guidance and tools through this month’s safety topic: Safe + Sound Week 2023. Please utilize what you know and learn in this month’s training course to protect yourself from the isolation and exhaustion remote work is notoriously guilty of encouraging. Your health and well-being are of utmost importance to me.
Our sustainability blog for July marks the final installment of our Backyard Garden-Along series. Zucchini, Tomatoes, and Cucumbers… Oh
My! walks you through how to store all the produce that should be ripe for picking now and in the weeks to come. If you are still up to your eyeballs in any fruits or vegetables, consider donating to a soup kitchen or family in need. As always, let us know what you have grown! Send pics and details to [email protected] and you could be featured in a blog or LinkedIn post.
Throughout July, we have continued developing business relations and meeting with potential clients to further our efforts in the Drone and
Undergrounding spaces. Steve and I met with a PG&E representative about our partnership with Fleet to Force, and were asked to onboard through ISN. The onboarding process is a tremendous administrative burden with the development of many new policies and countless trainings. I would like to give a huge shout out to Kelly who has masterfully cranked out one new policy after another so that we could meet PG&E’s stringent safety requirements.
If you don't already, please follow our company's LinkedIn page to stay up to date with all our milestones and accomplishments. We appreciate all the likes, comments, and support you give, which ultimately enables our posts to reach a wider audience. Please continue to show your support to move our marketing efforts
forward.
In closing, I want to encourage everyone to enjoy the last month of summer before school resumes and the weather cools off.
Thank you!
