Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. One night my husband had gotten very little sleep. It was almost morning when he finally drifted off to sleep. Meanwhile, I had lost my phone. I had looked everywhere, but I just couldn't find it. As morning came near, I figured my phone alarm would soon go
off. I'd find my phone, which would be great -- but my husband would be awakened. I lay in the dark and asked Yah if He could see my phone and if He would help me find it before it woke up my husband. I decided to go ahead and get up, so that I could look for it more. Stepping out of bed, my foot landed squarely on the phone I had been searching for. Yah had not only seen it in the dark. He heard my prayer and wasted no time in answering! He sees me, and He sees you, too! My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.
Daily Bible Verse“Then she called the name of Yehovah who spoke to her, 'El-Roi, You, God, see me.'" (Genesis 16:13, WEB)

He Sees AllBy Anne Elliott, January 11, 2020, AnneElliott.com I’m reading through Job, and today’s reading is pretty dark and dreary, and Job feels like he cannot make his case before the court of heaven. No human understands him, and even though he knows YHVH sees right into his heart, YHVH is not going to explain what He is doing. Continue Reading

Sibling Fighting Isn't FunnyBy Anne Elliott, HomeschoolingTorah.com One time my daughter saw her sister crying. It was a busy day, and her dad had asked her to hurry to get the laundry put away so they could run an errand. Yet she saw her sister crying, so she stopped, put everything down, and checked on her sister. My heart about popped out of my chest in joy. How should brothers and sisters treat each other? "If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?" (1 John 3:17). Love for brothers and sisters is likely one of the most important character lessons we need to teach our children. As Yeshua starts with the two greatest commands of the Torah (love YHVH and love your
neighbor as yourself), we also should start here in our homes. Read More |
