Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. I like to meditate on Yah's power. Sitting by the ocean, or watching the splendor of a storm, or seeing the muscles in a horse's legs... All these things move me to worship my Creator and praise His amazing power. My power is not amazing. I wear out. I struggle to keep up. However, when the Almighty is on my side, I can rest on Him, a little like I would have laid my head on my Daddy's shoulder when I was tired, letting him carry me. My goal is to bring a little bit of
Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your
style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.
Daily Bible Verse“The Almighty, whom we cannot find out, is excellent in power, yet to judgment and to plentiful justice He does no violence." (Job 37:23, JPS)

The Power of His ResurrectionBy Anne Elliott, October 25, 2010, AnneElliott.com Did Yeshua have a belly button?” That’s the question my three-year-old son asked me, as we sat together on the couch, reading from the Bible in Pictures for Little Eyes. I couldn’t believe my ears. What a silly question for such an important
page! You see, we were reading the story of Yeshua’s crucifixion, and the picture on that page showed Yeshua’s body hanging on the cross. I was carefully and gently explaining to my little one about the need for Yeshua’s death, as a payment for our sins on the cross. I felt I had been very thorough in my explanation. So why the ordinary, very off-topic question? Read More

Creamy Pasta PrimaveraI like easy recipes. This one is pretty fast and easy! You’ll be in and out of the kitchen really fast. Get all your veggies out first, and start your beef to browning while you chop up the onion. Add it to the beef, then chop your other veggies. By then, your beef will be about done, so you can start simmering everything.
Get the pasta cooked in a separate pan, and soon you’ll be eating dinner! Get Recipe |
