Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. In the middle of the night, my mind can go 100 mph with thoughts, ideas, plans, and worries. How comforting it is to know that Yah's mind never stops thinking about me either! You and I are on His mind and in His plans. My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.
I'd love to hear if you are reading your Bible each day! Hit reply and say, "I'm reading my Bible!" Daily Bible Verse"'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says YHVH, 'thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.'" (Jeremiah 29:11)
ma-ha-sha-bah - a thought, design, plan, purpose, or
invention. Yah thinks of me and has designed a plan for my future. Source

The Best Laid PlansBy Anne Elliott, December 21, 2018, AnneElliott.com Planning is one of my favorite things. I have loved journals and calendars and to-do lists and file folders and Office Depot and pens and sticky notes and… well, all that stuff… for my entire life! However, I also have the
“talent” of adding too many things to my planning list. I enjoy new ideas, and all those new ideas get added to a master list. Quite frankly, I would need to live to be 120 years old (and maybe older!) to get all of the things done that are on my list. My Creator is also a planner, and since I’m made in His image, I know I get that characteristic from Him. It is a crazy, warm, and delicious thought to
know that I have been in His plans from the beginning of time. Yes, He’s been thinking about me that long! I can prove it from Scripture. And He’s been thinking about you, too. Want to see? Continue Reading
The Power of His ResurrectionBy Charles C. "Chas" Morse, January 25, 2023, Institute for Creation Research “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear.” (Psalm 46:1-2) Psalm 46 may have been written after Yahweh’s great military victory over Sennacherib in his failed attempt to besiege Jerusalem. Trusting God resonates
throughout this psalm, encompassing the physical, the political, and the international. Read More

Toll House Pan CookiesThis recipe is a family favorite, given to my mom by my grandma over 10 years ago, and made for many an event, church dinner, and birthday ever since. Despite how many times we’ve made it, we still love it, and the cookies rarely last longer than a
day or two in our kitchen. They’re easily my favorite cookie and certainly in the running for my favorite dessert, pairing well with ice cream, milk, and coffee, while also standing strong on their own. So let’s get to making them! |
Thank you for taking time to sip coffee with me. It's almost Sabbath, so whatever your plans are, I encourage you to think about your Father's
