Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. Shavua tov! Good morning and good new week to you! It's gently snowing here, and I've got my coffee. I'm eager for the new week ahead, so I pulled out my planner to start preparing. My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like
this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.
Daily Bible Verse"Fear not, Abram: I am your shield, and your exceeding great reward." (Genesis 15:1, JPS)
ya-ray - fear, a flowing of the insides; quivering of the gut from fear or awe; to dread what is terrible
or revere what is respected. Source
Foundations 1: Preparation for Christ examines the Old Testament, preparing your children for the coming of the Messiah by presenting them with a clear picture of God’s nature and character, as well as the nature and character of sinful mankind. They will learn about the necessity of the Law and about God’s plan to provide a Savior from sin.
They will have a clear understanding of the place of Israel in God’s plan. The goal is to lay a firm foundation in their lives for understanding Messiah as presented in the New Testament. Learn

Today we’re going to start focusing on the specific actions we are to take to show that the Word of God is true in our lives. “Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God” (Titus 2:3-5). The first action I see is that older women are to train the younger women to love their husbands and children. Continue Reading

You can make them according to any pattern you like, as the only commands concerning them, are, they attach to the four corners of your garment, they have a blue thread to identify you as YHVH’s, and they are made of twisted thread. Tzitzits Are Done!By Kiersten Elliott, October 7, 2022, LittleCornerHobbies.com I have finally finished my tzitzit project! I started this pair back in June of 2021 and have been working on them very periodically over the last year. But as of today, I have finally finished them! And it is a
wonderful feeling. I am very happy with how they turned out. This pair is going to be for more formal, fancy outfits, so I won’t wear them super often, but I look forward to when I will wear them. Continue Reading |
