Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. Boker tov! Good day to you... even though the topic of today's email is how to protect our families from evil. I am very thankful for the power of Scripture to reveal what is evil so that I can rid it from our lives! My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.
Daily Bible Verse"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort
me." (Psalm 23:4, NKJV)
rah - wicked; a person who is dark and twisted and does twisted things. Actions are fruit that comes from
seeds, and wicked deeds come from a hidden seed of like kind. Source

Set Apart to Be HolyBy Anne Elliott, October 7, 2022, AnneElliott.com Last time I told you how I felt that the Spirit was whispering that Titus 2:3-5 was the next passage we should study here on my blog. Today we’re going to start focusing on the specific actions we are to take to show that the Word of God is true in our lives. “Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God” (Titus 2:3-5). The first action I see is that older women are to train the younger women to love their husbands and children. Continue Reading
Porn in a Biblical MarriageBy Katherine Hirn, January 19, 2023, HirnHomeschoolers.com My husband and I have been together for over 30 years. We have been mentoring couples for over 20 years. Now we are parents to young married couples. One of our daughters is getting married this June. We are so excited. But as always these months leading up to marriage, we, as parents, try and be very intentional about what we discuss
and encourage the young couple to discuss. One of the topics we are very adamant about discussing is pornography. Continue Reading

How to Protect Kids from the Dark Side of TechnologyBy Marissa Streit, January 27, 2023, PragerU.com As much as parents want to protect their children from the dangers of social media, sexting, and pornography, in reality, it is not practical to keep them away from technology forever. So,
what can parents do to have peace of mind while their children are online? Sean Clifford is the CEO of Canopy, an app that prevents dangerous online activities from reaching kids. He sits with PragerU CEO Marissa Streit to discuss tech predators and safety measures parents can take. We have to be humble and realize that we can't depend on the ways our parents raised us, because it's an entirely different
world. We are facing things that our parents never faced. We need new strategies, and we need to humbly realize we might not currently have all the answers. Thankfully, YHVH is never taken by surprise, and we can ask Him for help. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5, NKJV). Watch Video |
