Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. By the middle of the week, right when it can become easy to get mired down in task lists and worries, it's always a good time to ponder something bigger. Today I wanted to focus on where our true home is! My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.

Once someone begins studying the commandments of God, such as the Sabbath commandment, to keep them, it soon becomes apparent that
these commands are addressed to the children of Israel as perpetual commandments. Someone said to me, “Well, that leaves me out, because I am not a descendant of Israel!” (The relief in their voice being apparent, that they do not have to think about keeping them!) Be very careful before you proclaim yourself not a seed. Read More |
