Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. We Elliotts come from the British Isles—a bit of Scotland,
Ireland, Britain, and Wales. We also have a smattering of Swedish and Norwegian and German. I love my identity, but I was talking to my daughter yesterday about how amazing it is to have learned about 18 years ago that the Bible was written to all nations—not to just Israel. This bit of knowledge transformed my life! I thought I'd talk about it today. My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip
of joy.
Daily Bible Verse"Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works
among all the peoples." (Psalm 96:3, JPS)

I recorded this video in 2020, for our annual online homeschool and family conference. In this
session, we talked about how your personality affects how you homeschool your children each day. The most amazing part of my research was that every tribe of Israel has a unique personality, and that when we are grafted into His people, He has a specific job for us to do. Fascinating! Watch Now
Because we believe that the Bible reveals all of history (past, present and future), it just makes sense to use the Bible as our primary history textbook. In fact, we believe that knowing God’s plan for mankind is essential for our children (in fact, for all people). But real homeschooling moms wish they could study history with the whole family
together. They also want a curriculum that’s easy to use, realistic for the budget, and interesting for both children and parents alike. Learn More |

My husband discovered a hymn in our church hymnal, and it has certainly been new to us. But oh! the words! Oh! the beautiful music! This hymn comes from “The Plymouth Collection.” This hymnal was issued in 1855, by Henry Ward Beecher, first pastor of the Plymouth Church of the Pilgrims in Brooklyn, New York. The words of this song are very rich, and I hope that I never forget them. “Thou True Vine, That Heals the Nations”
Thou true Vine, that heals the nations, Tree of life, thy branches we. They who leave thee fade and wither, none bear fruit except in thee. Cleanse us, make us sane and simple, till we merge our lives in thine, gain ourselves in thee, the Vintage, give ourselves through thee, the Vine. Nothing can we do without thee; on thy life depends each one. If we keep thy words and love
thee, all we ask for shall be done. May we, loving one another, radiant in thy light abide; so through us, made fruitful by thee, shall our God be glorified. Listen
