Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. Good morning and happy Monday! We are working our way through the 7 days of Unleavened Bread, so today I am sharing a few articles from WAY back, when our own family was beginning to celebrate the feasts. I also share my husband's
very uplifting teaching from yesterday. My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.

At our house, in the days before the feast starts, we do some spring cleaning. It isn’t specifically required in God’s Word, but with seven children and several pets, crumbs from
yeast bread get into the strangest places! A few years ago, right before Passover, the kids and I carefully cleaned the kitchen. I felt ambitious, so we kept cleaning past the kitchen and dining room, where obvious bread crumbs might be found, down the hallway and into the bedrooms. Can you guess what we found under my bed? A big hunk of bread! I don’t even eat in my bedroom! How did it get in there?! Continue Reading

It was morning, and I had just started drying my hair and applying my makeup. This was standard “read my Bible” time for me, since my kids are usually still sleeping when I get a
shower. I keep my Bible in the bathroom, and so it was a habit for me to open to the Psalms and start to read. Today I began to read from Psalm 12. Read More
The Biblical Feasts: A Study of the Times of Worship of Our Creator is a simple Scripture study that you can do alone, with your family, or with a study group. The feasts of the Lord from Leviticus 23 are each studied, as well as a look at the calendar used in Scripture and prophecy. After each Scripture study, we’ll provide you with more
resources to help you get started in celebrating the feasts, as well as resources to help you learn about various traditions. Learn More |
Yesterday our congregation met to celebrate Reshit Katzir, also known as First Fruits. This is a special appointed time from Leviticus 23, but it also "happens" to be the day Yeshua rose from
the dead. As usual, everything in the Torah points to Him! Here is a video of our special service, and the music was fun and the fellowship was great. My favorite part was my husband's teaching on why this day is so important to our lives. I think it will encourage you, too! Watch Now |
Thank you for taking time to sip coffee with me. I hope your day is tov—good and accomplishing what the Creator designed you for.
