Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. Good morning and happy Wednesday! We have begun to count toward the next big holiday, which is Shavuot. Today we're going to talk about all kinds of things we can count, including our blessings! My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.
Daily Bible Verse"For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth." (Job 19:25)
ga'al—redeemer; one who buys back; one who brings back around. Source
In today’s episode, we talked about how a Torah home is a home that counts. We emphasized counting the days to Shavuot, and we also talked about counting our blessings. Check out the ideas for counting the omer on this page, too! Listen Now
The Foundations Bible series examines the entire Bible, preparing your children for the coming of the Messiah by presenting them with a clear picture of God’s nature and character, as well as the nature and character of sinful mankind. They will learn about the necessity of the Law and about God’s plan to provide a Savior from sin. They will
have a clear understanding of the place of Israel in God’s plan. The goal is to lay a firm foundation in their lives for understanding Messiah as presented in the New Testament. They will see how the Messiah was the fulfillment of all the Old Testament. Learn More |

on someone’s blog. I wish I could remember, because I’d like to thank that person! This book has now become one of my my favorite parenting books ever. Yup, it’s that good! Read More

The timelines cover Creation in 4004 BC, where The Story of the Ancient World begins, to 1901, where The Story of the Great Republic ends. Old Testament history is taken as authoritative, and the history of
the other great ancient civilizations is woven in and out of the Old Testament story at the proper places in the narrative. Learn More |
Math is a topic that frightens the best of mothers. If you didn’t especially love math yourself, you might be thoroughly intimidated at the thought of teaching math to your own
children. If you were raised in a public or private school setting, it’s easy to see why math might be difficult for you. In a classroom of 15-30 students, if one child doesn’t catch on to a concept, the teacher cannot reasonably hold up the entire class while waiting for that one student. However, day after day, week after week, the confused child is left further and further behind. She usually starts to
give up, saying that she’s not really very good at math anyway. Continue Reading |
