Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. Good morning! I was telling my mother about a problem last night, and her advice? "Sing, quote Scripture, make a happy home!" Yup! That's great counsel, so I'm passing it along to you today, too. My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.
Daily Bible Verse"Lo, children are a heritage of Yehovah, the fruit of the womb is His reward." (Psalm 127:3)
nahala—heritage; inheritance; the acquisition of a properties, wealth or blessings from past generations.

have a panic attack? Continue Reading

The Scriptures say a lot about singing and music. The word “sing,” for instance, is used 107 times in the NIV! I think these verses are the key to why singing with our children is an excellent
way to open up conversations with them about God. As we focus on His goodness, rather than our sorry circumstances, we will pass on an infectious joy to our children and homes. Read

These Homeschooling P.E. lesson plans are intended for elementary-age children, since these are the ages of my own children. I planned for ways to get us all up and exercising together, since this was a need in our home. I tried to make it fun, since I knew that I wouldn’t want to continue if it wasn’t—and if Mom doesn’t want to exercise, why would

Music, art, and literature are important subjects for our children, even required by law in many places. However, Torah-observant families face a unique struggle, because much of the “arts” are
filled with humanistic ideas and even immorality. How can we teach these subjects in a biblical way? We’ll share ideas and specific teaching techniques, all based on Scripture. Watch
