Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. Good morning and happy new week! I have been pondering wisdom, which in the Hebrew means skillful or having a deep understanding of a subject. I want to be a wise woman! Today let's talk about that. My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.
Daily Bible Verse"Through wisdom a house is built, by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all rare and beautiful
treasure." (Proverbs 24:3-4)
hakh-mah—wisdom; skill; the ability to decide or discern between good and bad, right and wrong; a deep
understanding of a craft. Source
A burden of mine is to communicate with women that we must try to always operate with a spirit of excellence. As believers in our precious Savior, Yeshua the Messiah, we must not
live our lives in a slip-shod manner, as if what we do doesn’t really matter. Continue Reading

When someone is lost in the woods, his first inclination is denial. Then he starts to realize he really is lost, and starts to move faster. It’s called “Bush Panic.” Instead of
stopping to evaluate his situation (like, where could I sleep tonight, or what will I eat, or how could I contact someone?), he uses all his energy, often running in circles… until the sun sets and he’s now in a real pickle. As a busy mother, I’ve often felt “bush panic” at home. My to-do list gets longer, and I start to realize that there is NO WAY I can possibly get it all done — yet I
realize that it MUST get done… there will be consequences if I don’t… and others try to help, but they just do it wrong and create even MORE work for me to do… And the panic rises inside of me. I get mad at those around me… or I cry… or I keep going faster and faster, staying up later and later… Until I collapse. Read More

As a new week starts, I thought I'd share my favorite pico de gallo recipe. In the springtime, we usually start making a quart of this every week or two, so that we can add it to our scrambled
eggs. That's probably why it just sums up "springtime" in my mind! It makes me get in the mood to work in the garden, to go on walks so I can see all the budding trees, and to dream of summertime. Who knew that food could do so much? Get the
