Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. Good morning and happy Wednesday! My daughter at college needed to do a project on mental health, so she asked me for some advice. I thought I'd share some of what I shared with her. My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.
Daily Bible Verse"Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you know not." (Jeremiah 33:3)

I have known Debra Reed from NotebookingPages.com for over 15 years. This week is their "Birthday Sale," and I get goosebumps because I remember when she started. (I'm old now!) Her teaching and resources on notebooking have had a huge affect on how I homeschool today, and on our curriculum at Foundations Press and Homeschooling Torah. If you've never
checked out her valuable tools, you should definitely do that today, especially while the price is reduced. Visit NotebookingPages.com |

When I was a new mom, I read a book called Creative Family Times by Allen Hadidian and Will Wilson. The authors encouraged me to get in the habit of carrying on conversations with my
children about God as often as possible. In this blog series, I’m listing ideas to get the conversations started. I’ll just list verses straight from the Bible, then I’ll share beneath how we implement some of the ideas in our home. Prayer is essential to building faith in our children. Well… praying in a way that our
children see and hear is essential. Do you remember the account of Daniel in Babylon? Read More |
