Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. Good morning and happy Monday! Some days don't go according to plan, and Mondays especially tend to be that way. My day has been a little different, but I still wanted to send out an email. I hope you don't mind coffee for
lunch! My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.

seven…….whatever) child/ren and I wonder how we could ever adopt or have more when I feel like I’m sinking now.” Continue Reading

Our church’s ladies group has been studying the life of Hannah (1 Samuel 1-2). One thing we noted is that she prayed for little Samuel before he was even conceived. When God
answered her request for a son, she kept her part of the bargain by saying, “So now I give him to YHVH.” Each of us as moms desires to give our children back to YHVH, but the reality is that only 4% of children raised in Christian homes will stay faithful to God once they leave high school (Barna). With such a dismal statistic, many mothers simply throw up their hands and say, “Well, I just
need to pray more” or “Sometimes God answers our prayers with ‘no’ or ‘wait a while.'” Read More

I’m too fussy about added natural flavors, MSG, citric acid, and other junk, to want to buy store-bought seasoning packets, but I’m also too BUSY not to have something easy on
hand. My solution for spaghetti, pizza, tacos, and more is to purchase individual spices and then have reminder lists of what to use taped to the inside of my cupboard door. My reminder lists include the following. Read More |
