Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. Good morning and happy Monday to you! Sometimes we all know how YHVH says we should live and how we should act to those around us, but getting a reminder can help if we're tired or overwhelmed. Reading His Torah daily is an
excellent way to be reminded of how kind and good He is! My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of
joy.
Daily Bible Verse"She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness." (Proverbs 31:26)
chesed—kindness; of a sympathetic nature; the sense of bowing the neck to another as a sign or respect and
kindness to an equal. Source
Some mornings when I choose posts to share with you, I have to chuckle at what I wrote way back when. Today's post was written over 14 years ago, on my husband's 36th birthday. He was a new pastor at a small Baptist church, and at home we were learning a lot about what the Torah was. I remember being so excited to learn that the word Torah
meant instruction, not "laws." I'm pretty sure this post was written right around that time! Read More

declared Messiah, the Gospel of grace, the new birth, and the free gift of eternal life from the very first chapters of the Bible. In fact, all of Torah declares Messiah, and points to Him. Find out how! |
People define the word Torah differently. You could have three or four people in a room, and they might all say Torah or the Law of God, and yet they might all mean entirely different things. Read More

How Good and Pleasant It Is When Brothers Dwell in Unity!By Anne Elliott, March 8, 2014, HomeschoolingTorah.com
One of the highest goals we can have for a Torah-obedient home is to have all our family members living together in unity. The ideal home is one in which we go beyond a basic desire to see no quarreling or devouring one another (Galatians 5:15). We go even further, and we delight in each other, we are dear to one another, and we promote each other’s
welfare by serving one another. Read More |
