Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. Shavua tov! Happy new week to you! Our daughter is having her high-school graduation party today. Five of my children have finished homeschooling, and now I only have two left! I'm getting older and older, and it definitely makes
me want to check my priorities. My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.
Daily Bible Verse"When a man's ways please YHVH, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." (Proverbs 16:7)
ratzah—to please; to be accepted; to be received from a messenger what is given as a message. Source

Something odd has been happening to me lately. I’ve been getting old! Yup! I knew it would happen someday, but it has kinda caught me off guard. For the first time I can remember, I’m not one of the youngest women at church. For the first time I can remember,
someone thought the little pooch on my belly was fat (which it is!) and not another baby coming (which it isn’t!). For the first time I can remember, I can see little crow’s feet around my eyes when I look in the mirror. (Of course, my own children have always thought I’m old, but that doesn’t count.) Read More

summary of the Torah portion, study questions, a space for prayer requests, a memory verse, and application questions to help you put into practice what you have read in Scripture. Learn More |
