Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. Happy Fourth of July to those of you who live in the United States! My thoughts are on freedom this morning, so I'm starting with a blog post that talks about how looking into God's Torah brings freedom. Next I share a post on
teaching history from the Bible. Finally, I am listening to a video I recorded in 2020, during the height of Covid, and examining reasons why people chose to homeschool in the pandemic. Good reminders! My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup
of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to
take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.
Daily Bible Verse"And Yeshua said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'" (John 14:6)

How to Remain in the VineBy Anne Elliott, December 23, 2011, AnneElliott.com
I’ve been pondering something lately: Why do I seem to feel so close to God at times, yet other times He feels so far away? Why do I have joy sometimes, when I just put on a good face at other times? The Spirit led me to these verses
from John 15 this week, and it seems as if my questions were clearly answered. Read More
At Foundations Press, you can use the Bible and amazing living books to study history with all your children together. Begin with Creation and continue with the Flood, the Tower of Babel, Sumer, Abraham and the nation of Israel, Egypt, Canaanite nations,
Assyria, and the judgments on both the northern and southern kingdoms of Israel and Judah. Go on to study Persia, Greece, and Rome from a biblical perspective -- and then KEEP GOING through church history, medieval times, the Renaissance, and the Reformation, even American history. The Word of God really CAN be your primary textbook! Learn More |
There are many good history curriculum available to homeschoolers today. Why write another one? One reason is that we want to use the Bible as our primary textbook when homeschooling our children. We believe that the Bible is 100% accurate and was written by our Creator; therefore, it contains the most important information that our Creator wants us
to know. History is no exception. While the Bible’s account of history varies substantially from secular accounts, we believe that only the Bible’s record is accurate and true. Read More
Foundations of Torah High School Journal might have been written for high-school students, but adults of all ages have fallen in love with it, as they journal their way through the annual Torah-reading schedule. Each week’s journal pages include a
summary of the Torah portion, study questions, a space for prayer requests, a memory verse, and application questions to help you put into practice what you have read in Scripture. Learn More |
During Covid, suddenly children all across America were being homeschooled! Their families needed help! So in response, companies and organizations, as well as individuals, tried to brainstorm ways to #HelpAmericaHomeschool. Here is a video I made with some of my
personal thoughts, as well as ideas to help struggling parents. Watch Now |
Thank you for taking time to sip coffee with me. I hope your day is tov—good and accomplishing what the Creator designed you for.
