Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. Good morning! What a blessing it is to start each day with our Bibles (and coffee), reading the "love letter" YHVH has given to us in His Word. Today's posts are all about the importance of making a firm habit of reading the Bible
each day. My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.

A Home That ReadsBy Kraig and Anne Elliott, April 9, 2010, TorahHome.com
In this podcast, we talk about how a Torah home is a home that reads. We interview Katie Hirn from HirnHomeschoolers.com about her purposefully small collection of books, plus we find out what the Torah says about protecting our families from lies that can enter our homes through media. Kraig shares tips for making beautiful but inexpensive
bookshelves, Anne shares what books she’s reading this week, and we talk about how to teach young children to read. Listen

After interviewing several online friends about their Bible-reading habits, I decided to camp one more week on Psalm 1:1-3 and briefly summarize some “how to” strategies for making God’s Word a part of our daily lives. I don’t claim to be an expert in this area, but maybe some of my ideas will help you. Read More

God will never speak a personal word to anyone which contradicts His general word to everyone. When I was a young wife, one of the older ladies in our church confided in me that God had told her to divorce her husband. I instantly knew that God had not told her that. Read More |
