Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. Good morning! It is a beautiful day, and as I look out my window, I am again in awe at my Creator's joy in making things look so pretty. My hope is that in word and deed, my actions will represent His beauty in the world
today. My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.
Daily Bible Verse"Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth
is Mine." (Exodus 19:5)

Clothed with Fine Linen and PurpleBy Anne Elliott, April 10, 2009, AnneElliott.com
“She makes tapestry for herself; Her clothing is
fine linen and purple” (Proverbs 31:22). I’m happy to tell you that it is righteous and godly for a woman to dress herself and her home in beautiful things! Our Lady of Proverbs 31 made tapestries with her own hands. These tapestries were probably beautiful embroidered bedspreads and cushions for her bed and home. They were luxurious and delightful to the eye. They displayed her creativity and
her love of beauty. Her own clothing was fine linen and purple, which were the fabrics of royalty, amazing to touch and gorgeous to look at. Read More
Foundations of Torah High School Journal might have been written for high-school students, but adults of all ages have fallen in love with it, as they journal their way through the annual Torah-reading schedule. Each week’s journal pages include a
summary of the Torah portion and haftarah, study questions, a space for prayer requests, a memory verse, and application questions to help you put into practice what you have read in Scripture. Learn More |
If I invited a professional organizer to come over to my house and help me with my goal of organizing all my homeschooling “stuff,” the first thing this expert would do is sit me down in my
living room. She’d pull out a clipboard, and she’d start to ask me questions. “Anne, what’s not working? If you could change anything about your homeschooling year, what would it be?” I might tell her which subjects we just never get around to, or that I’ve misplaced one of the books we need, or that several of my kids
take after me and really struggle with spelling. Then this professional organizer would ask, “Anne, why do you think it’s not working?” and “What do you think would help most?” Read More
Recently a brand-new customer to Homeschooling Torah wrote: "I am just now, today years old, learning to organize our family…schedules, meal plans, etc. We have not been so good at it yet. I am already utilizing your planning helpers and print-outs. We
have only done one scheduled day, and life is already easier and my kids are happier. Amazing. Praise Adonai!" Check Out Homeschooling Torah Today |
Since I've been thinking about beauty today, I decided to share a recipe to a truly elegant desert. My husband often makes this for me on my bithday, and he definitely knows how to place it on a gorgeous platter and arrange flowers and raspberries and a touch of powdered sugar on it, so that it's not only scrumptious but also a delight to look at. I
love seeing what creative way he'll present it each year! Get the Recipe |
Thank you for taking time to sip coffee with me. I hope your day is tov—good and accomplishing what the Creator designed you for.
