Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. Good morning! My 22-year-old son is getting married on Friday to one of my dearest friend's daughters, so this is a fun week! Many family members are starting to arrive in town, and we are enjoying preparing food for tomorrow's
rehearsal dinner. I'll do my best to send emails this week, but if I miss a couple, you'll understand! I'll be sure to share pictures soon. Meanwhile, I thought I'd share some posts to celebrate summertime. My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a
good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for
you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.

This post was originally titled "Why I'm Not Blogging Much," and it was written in the summer of 2013. In fact, I hadn't been blogging much at all that year, and I was eager to share what had happened to make me so busy. The story started when we moved to Wisconsin
because my husband had resigned his position as a Baptist pastor. Read More
