Blessings on you from the Elliott family! Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy today’s newsletter. I have been going through Hebrews on Wednesdays, and today's post is full of comfort and (honestly) a little conviction. No matter what discouraging times you might face, He has promised to never leave you nor forsake
you. My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.
Daily Bible Verse"Do not My words do good to him that walks uprightly?" (Micah
2:7)
yashar—upright; straight; without a bend, angle, or curve; a straight line, path, or thought; the cord of
the bow as stretched taught. Source

I never dreamed how many topics could come out of one little Bible passage, but this week’s verses certainly have a lot of them! I wasn’t sure which to write about, for there were too many good possibilities here! But I’m going to try to be as practical as
possible. (If you want some of the deeper topics, just dig in. There’s a lot of treasure in these verses, if you’ll mine for it.) Read

Foundations of Torah High School Journal might have been written for high-school students, but adults of all ages have fallen in love with it, as they journal their way through the annual Torah-reading schedule. Each week’s journal pages include a
summary of the Torah portion and haftarah, study questions, a space for prayer requests, a memory verse, and application questions to help you put into practice what you have read in Scripture. Learn More |
Paying for healthy food! Yikes! This can seem overwhelming. In fact, from my research and from talking with many people, it seems that this is one of the top reasons why people claim to not be able to eat good-for-them food. However, I’d like to show you how this is an illusion. It really is possible! Read More

I am so blessed to be able to get fresh milk from a local farm each week. However, as more and more of my children grow up and "leave the nest," I'm finding that I can't always get through my milk in a week. Recently I remembered how I used to make homemade yogurt, back when my children were all very young and an Amish friend kept us well supplied
with milk. This is my family's easy recipe. |
Thank you for taking time to sip coffee with me. I hope your day is tov—good and accomplishing what the Creator designed you for.
