If you happened to catch my recent emails, then you may recall the turmoil I went through with GetResponse, my former email marketing provider.
They kicked me off their system because one of my emails generated a ton of spam complaints, most, I think, due to my participation in giveaways over the years.
You know how it is: People sign up for a giveaway,
download your lead magnet, and get added to your list. All is well and good as long as you keep emailing. If you don't, your audience will forget about you.
That's what happened to me. A large portion of my list forgot about me when I stopped
writing for 1.5 years while employed as a full-time marketing writer and editor at a tech services company.
The turmoil is all behind me now. I'm at AWeber, and this is an official "re-engagement" campaign.
