Hey friend, 

How familiar are you with GPTs, tokens, and context windows? If not at all, then pardon this email. 

If you know what I'm talking about, then you may enjoy a funny thought I had recently: My husband is like ChatGPT. 

He can take in only so many tokens before he starts forgetting what I said and losing track of the conversation and its details. 

"It's like my brain gets one bit of information and starts dealing with it when another one shows up and pretty soon there's a long line to get in, which is stressful," he said. 

(He actually said those words and I scrambled to capture them in one of several notebooks I keep by my side.)

If I ignore signs that I already ate up his context window, he'll eventually start hallucinating, mixing up things I said and imagining things he thought I said but totally did not!

Just the other day, he even said he's desperate for a plug-in that will let him summarize everything I say 😂 (Yes, he said that, too, and I wrote it down for later!)

My husband is a funny guy.

But what he really needs is personal knowledge base where he stores all my content so he can access and query it at any time. 

It'd be the first step toward a generative AI spouse :)
