Here’s a little deeper look into the ins and outs of the Trainerize app. I want to keep things as simple as possible for you so that it can make things easier, not harder for you! It may be helpful to open this email on a laptop or tablet so you can reference your Trainerize app from your phone
at the same time, but if that’s not an option for you don’t stress it!
First off, this is what your main screen will look like when you open the app. This is called your “dash” aka dashboard.
Nothing will show up under things to do today until August 21st when the challenge begins. The first thing to appear on August 21st will be your weight entry as well as a photo entry. More instructions will be given on that later. The next thing that will appear are daily scheduled workouts that you can choose to use if you would like. The next thing you may notice is the
“Weight Loss Challenge Accountability Group” right in the center of the screen. Inside the group will look like this right now.
This area is going to be a crucial part of this 8-week challenge! This is where you can ask questions either to myself or to others within the group. Everyone will see the messages and responses and can contribute as well. Think sort of like a Facebook group! The goal is for it to be a place where questions can get answered, but also where people can encourage one another! Perhaps one of the best
parts about the group though is that each time someone completes a workout or hits their daily nutrition goal it will notify the entire group that they completed that goal, providing the extra accountability that many of us need! Nothing else will show up in the group area besides messages sent within the group and notifications saying you completed a workout or calorie goal. No one can see what you did within your actual workouts or what foods you ate or even what your calorie goal is.
Additionally, no one else besides myself will see your weight, photos, or any of the other information you filled out for your profile or consultation.
Well, I think that’s quite enough for today! Tommorrows email will be similar to todays. We'll dive into more of the app features!
