Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the Parmesan Coating: In a shallow bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Brush both sides of each chicken breast with olive oil.
Coat the Chicken: Dredge each chicken breast in the Parmesan mixture, pressing down to ensure a good coating on both sides.
Bake the Chicken: Place the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
Garnish and Serve: Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
