It's ALMOST time for our annual 7 Day Challenge!!! This is our NINTH year of doing the challenge during National Preparedness Month and we've loved learning something new each year. We have changed the format over the years and gone through many different scenarios. We're excited to be following the Preparedness Cycle Model again this year where we give you advanced warning of when it will be so you can really

We encourage you to spend a few minutes tonight and discuss the 7 Day Challenge and the Preparedness Cycle with your children, significant other, roommates, or anyone else who may be affected by you participating. Our church recommends we do a little family lesson every Monday evening, so we are planning to go over it with our kids tonight so they know what to expect for the next seven days. It's a lot more rewarding when everyone in your
family is working on it together!

JUST GETTING STARTED???
We've had a few people ask if they can join along even if they are just getting started with their preparedness plans and can't "survive" actual disasters yet. The answer is YES you can definitely participate. Follow along and do each scenario the best you can, take good notes on what you will need to buy, learn, and do to be better prepared next time. And in the meantime, check out this Facebook Live Julie did last week to answer her friend who was having trouble just getting started. It's some great info and feel free to share with anyone YOU know who might just be getting started as well.
