Bosch Baking Bonanza! Mixer and Mill Combo Sale

Published: Tue, 11/14/17

Hi, from Jodi and Julie at Food Storage Made Easy,

With the holidays getting closer and the weather colder, it's the perfect time to bake. Did you know MOST baking items go on sale in November? It's time to stock up and refresh Babystep 7 items in your food storage.

We also just got word of an incredible deal on a Bosch Universal Mixer and Nutrimill COMBO package. We are now able to sell them together for a discounted price! These are two appliances that can really help you get comfortable using common food storage items.

We're calling this Bosch Universal Mixer and Nutri Mill COMBO sale the November Baking Bonanza.  If you bought these items separately they would total $575. During this holiday season, if you buy them together, you will get them for $499! This may be something you have been saving up for or hoping for this Christmas. The fine print does read" while supplies last" so don't delay.

Today we wanted to share some of our favorite foods to bake along with some of our most creative ways we use our food storage with our grain mills.
Whole Wheat Bread
We found this recipe years ago after experimenting with many other recipes. It is by far the most fail-proof, tasty, versatile bread recipe we have ever tried. Once we started making it with our BOSCH Universal Mixer it became the easiest recipe too. We can make 6 loaves of bread with it or make 3-4 loaves along with pizza dough and cinnamon rolls.
Whole Wheat Tortillas
We'll be totally honest.... we don't always make homemade tortillas. It's not that it's hard, but buying tortillas feels a whole lot easier. We really wanted to learn how to make them early on in our food storage journey. We felt like having that in our repertoire of foods we could make should we need to rely solely on food storage would be a good thing. See some of our adventures in making food storage tortillas.
Food Storage Recipe Mixes
This homemade cornbread mix and multi-grain pancake/waffle mix are so nice to have on hand. We are able to grind a variety of grains ahead of time, make the mixes, and use them on busy mornings and nights.

Bean Flour Cream Soups
Since we're talking about grinding things in a mill this is a fun one to share. Our favorite way to sub out cream of chicken soups is with this replacement bean flour recipe. We grind any kind of bean into a flour and then use it as a base for cream soups. It saves on calories, and is great for those with dairy and gluten allergies.
Pumpkin Cake
Since Thanksgiving is around the corner we HIGHLY recommend you give this cake a try. The frosting is to die for and you can totally use fresh whole wheat flour in place of white flour. Don't believe us? See how we tricked Jodi's dad with this substitute.

We hope you have a great week! We'll be back next week with some great holiday sales you won't want to miss.
