Are you "hot" to complete those projects you started?
Do you ever find yourself trapped in the endless cycle of starting projects with great enthusiasm and then you seem to feel frustrated when
you’re continually procrastinating to get them done? For the longest time, I struggled with this very issue. I would start projects with gusto, only to lose steam somewhere along the way. Sometimes it was because I lost my passion for the project or because of the overwhelming tasks at hand. And of course, then there’s the countless distractions that seem to materialize out of thin air, that diverts my attention.
If you’re like me you set yourself a few projects every week. Like this week, my three top projects are to –
- Finish the details on re-opening the A-LAB (Yes, get ready to be accountable and get things done)
- Map out my "Fashion Project."
- Set up my next YOU TUBE interview for "Entrepreneurs
Working from Home."
When I’m looking at the time I have available to get these done, I realize I must find my focus. And the best way to find your focus to get projects completed is using the POMODORO Technique. By committing 25 minutes of focused work at a time, I find that I
am able to make significant progress on my projects without feeling overwhelmed. The ticking of the timer serves as a gentle reminder to stay on task, while the promise of a break keeps me motivated.
So, if you’re like me and are “hot” to get your projects completed, watch my video (from the A-Lab archives) on how to use the Pomodoro Technique
