I wanted to share some helpful information I found online recently. It involves the law surrounding your rights to an employee exemption based on sincere religious beliefs.
By law this belief does NOT have to be in alignment with Any organized religion, pastor or religious leader. You actually Don't even have to be a member of any religious organization etc.
By law you are exempt based on your sincerely held beliefs period. It is up to your employer to make a reasonable accommodation. BY LAW!
No one can legally question your sincere held religious beliefs. Their so called mandates are not laws and do not over rule Laws.
If your employer or anyone you know of who is being bullied into doing something they are against, the following links will help.
The lady happens to be caucasian, but she's very helpful in breaking down the laws and things we should and shouldn't say when explaining our positions. We just have to fight based on the laws and not our feelings, the "science" or hearsay etc.
