Hi!
Thanks to all of your comments and shares on my March article in Write
to Done, the editor
requested a second article: Transform Your Single Story into a Complete Series. It came out today and I wanted to share that good news and the article. Please click to it and comment and share this one as well.
The first article was a rousing success with over 600 shares on social media,
making it one of WTD's most popular articles! Which was why Mary Jaksch, the editor, wanted a follow-up, a bit more in-depth on the do's and don'ts of a series versus serial.
Which brings me to a point about YOUR stories and writing:
- The more you share your story with others, the more people will get to know you as an author.
- The more stories you write, the more your previous
readers will start to follow you
- The more stories you publish, the more opportunities you have to attract new readers
And that is the point of writing any form of series: longevity for you as a writer and a growing base of fans for your stories. I'll talk more about how to share your stories in a later newsletter
But for now, if you are still on the fence about taking
my workshop about series writing starting June 17, please
sign up now. You know me; I give LOTS of personal attention to every client, and I don't want you to miss out.
I look forward to seeing your comments on the article—and seeing you in the workshop!
My Best,
Sandra
