Who Can You Trust?
I love to watch vintage TV shows as I snuggle in my chair in a fluffy blanket with a cup of hot tea (or chocolate). Especially this time of year, it is nice to escape into a simpler time and less demanding entertainment. One favorite program is "To Tell the Truth." Basically, it has a panel of judges who need to decide which of three people is really
the expert they all claim to be. Admission: I often guess wrong!
It is a fun program, but not so much fun in real life when we look for expert help. A couple of writers recently told me of less-than-positive experiences when they needed advice on their projects. I may not be able to help you find the best plumber or doctor for your needs, but when it comes to writing, my recent blog might be just what you need: Writing Experts: Who Should You Trust?
My Personal Invitation to You
I'd like to invite you into my personal writing group. No catch.
Some of you have been getting this newsletter for some time. Others are new, recently joining after buying my book "How to Publish a Book, Novel, or
Series" (thanks!). I keep these newsletters short and, I hope, useful because your time is precious.
FaceBook, let's be honest, can be a real drag on your time. But if you are on FaceBook at all, you've likely realized there are a few private groups that can be helpful there, too.
I'd like to invite you to my PRIVATE FaceBook group page. It is a small group, dedicated to writing and sharing pertinent info about the writing and publishing process. Just click on this link to my Haven4Writers Private Group and ask to join. (Hint: I'll accept you!)
Free and Classic Images -
I love free and classic, too! Here are FREE Images to use direct from the Library of Congress. Besides classics and historicals, there are LOTS of categories to choose from.
Take a peek and enjoy using superb images with their blessing: Free to Use and Reuse Sets | Library of Congress
That's it for this issue -- enjoy!

My Best,
Sandra
PS. If you think your writer friends would enjoy this newsletter, please share it. Thanks!
