Shattered Justice (A Bone Gap Travellers Novel Book 3) by Susan Furlong comes out the last day of the year to continue to story of a damaged female veteran Brynn Callahan and her war-injured dog companion as
they fight to claim their place--and solve murders--back home in Tennessee.
As a friend and long-time client, it is a pleasure to work with Susan and see this latest series in her career doing so well.
It takes time and effort to build any writing career, and Susan is an example of the success a writer can find when they are willing to stick to the craft and explore possibilities.
Susan's career began and expanded through a series of events. She wrote her first mystery series for Martin Sisters Publishing. She then approached a New York agent about a new series. Here's where publishing-and life-can take a twist and taking advantage of opportunities pays off.
The agent loved Susan's writing but what she was looking for at that moment was just the right author to take over an existing mystery series: A Novel Idea Mysteries. The agent suggested Susan to the publisher; Susan submitted a proposal and was accepted! She wrote books #4, #5 and #6 in A Novel Idea Mystery series.
Since then Susan has created a cozy series based on Georgia peach farmer's daughter and now has her third book out in her more gritty Bone Gap Travellers mystery series coming out Dec 31.
This is an example of how a willingness to take opportunities and persistence can create a lasting career.
