20th Anniversary Celebration
Our formal celebration marking Ciudad de Ángeles' 20th Anniversary was held on Feb. 18 & 19.
On Saturday afternoon, a come-and-go open house was held, giving visitors time to tour the campus and renew old acquaintances.
On Sunday morning, appoximately 120 people from the local congregations in Cozumel attended worship services together on our campus. Following services, a formal program recognized important people and events from Ciudad's history.
After the program, attendees enjoyed lunch on the grounds together.
The Christian Chronicle
Also in attendance at our 20th Anniversary Celebration was Bobby Ross, Editor-in-Chief of the Christian Chronicle. Bobby had an adventure of his own getting to Cozumel, when his flight from Houston was delayed a full day. However, once he arrived, he visited with a number of residents, former residents, house parents, Board Members, and other supporters, learning about our mission.
Bobby's article will appear in an upcoming edition of The Christian Chronicle and is available online now by clicking here.
