This is going to save me SO much time, and open up SO many opportunities! 🙂🙃

As you know, I just joined the 7-Day Facebook Live Sales & Leads Challenge, and our first challenge was to post an introduction video in the private challenge group - using only our mobile device (phone).

That assignment serves two purposes: 1) It gives you a private space to practice "going live" and getting comfortable with doing live video, and 2) It let's us all get to know each other, with a quick "who you are and what you do" intro video.

I love that because it's a smaller group with a very close knit community feel, so not only can friendships form - but you can easily make great business connections there that have tons of potential for joint ventures and other means of working together for mutual profit & benefit!

Anyway... I learned something really cool when I posted my Introduction video!

Confession: I do A LOT of livestreaming and video marketing, but I had NEVER gone live in a Facebook Group from my phone.

The truth is, I didn't know how (lol) 🤦‍♀️🙄🤣 until Monique showed a quick demo. SO easy!!

And I learned something cool in the process - that is REALLY going to help me take my livestreaming & video marketing to the next level...

I discovered when you're done and end your live video, it asks if you want to save the video to your phone.

So I did - and made content out of that. :)

It's all about who I am and what I do!



That means now I can go live from ANYWHERE in my low carb (niche) Facebook Group or on my Facebook Page, then upload that same video to IGTV and YouTube right after - too. :) Yay!

Normally I use a macbook with 3rd party software, which means I need wi-fi to even do it.

It's a bit of a hassle at best, but impossible in most situations.

That works great at home, and saves a high quality recording so I can upload it other places, so it's a great setup - but ONLY when I'm in my office or at home.

I don't know why I never found the option to "go live" from my Facebook mobile app before, but I'm glad I did - and discovered you can save the video to your phone right after.

All you have to do is tap the "SAVE" button when you end your live video and before you tap "Publish" - SO EASY.

Now I can go live anywhere, anytime, on the fly, while I'm out & about!!

AND repurpose that live video on other platforms quickly & easily. :)

Maybe that seems OBVIOUS to some people, or YOU already knew that & used it, but I figured if it was new to me and super helpful for getting way more exposure with very little time & effort... I should definitely pass it along. 😉


If you don't want to put your face on camera, there are other options...

I often do demo videos that only show my hands for example, and what I'm working on. That's great for cooking, recipes, crafts, hobbies, demonstrations of all kinds.

You can also do screencasting or screenshare style videos if you want to do a software demo or how-to video about something online (how to install xyz plugin, how to use this software feature, etc).

Live video is HOT though and will definitely get you more reach, more exposure, more views and more subscribers & followers - and sales!

Plus you can repurpose the recording into other video marketing promotions, which I highly recommend. I do that all the time with my Facebook Live videos - I upload the recording to IGTV and YouTube to reach different audiences with the same message.
