Let me get to the good part...
It's Friendship/Love Month, if you're attached or not! Celebrate LOVE everywhere you have it! You don't need a partner to celebrate it. If you are attached, then you have more than family & friends to be grateful for.
Valentine's Day is overrated, overpriced and over marketed!
Nothing like a good old fashion greeting card or heartfelt text does the trick to let someone you know how grateful you are for them.
your Dare, if you shall choose to accept it... is to send a text at least once a week this month to one of your friends to let them know how much of an impact they've had on you.
Perhaps it has been months, weeks or just hours that you connected, or perhaps years. No matter the time, reaching out breaks the ice and you can pick up where you left off.
We can say that the holidays and then the new year and every thing society
celebrates is a hard time for many. You are human having all the feels throughout the days, weeks and months of ups and downs, emotions, how often we forget 🤦🏻♀️. It could be stress, overwhelm, pressure, responsibility, extreme sadness or extreme elation to name a few.
When you're having the lows, remind yourself you are not your emotions and by the evening and/or tomorrow you WILL shift out of the funk.
On the flipside, can you imagine if we stayed ecstatic all day?! That sounds exhausting... walking around with your eyes wide open being 'extra smiley' with everyone... that makes me laugh just thinking of it. It's NOT sustainable.
