Hello Crafty Friends!

Thanks to all who made it to one of my Catalogue Launch Parties and a special thanks to those who placed an order - either online or at one of the launches.

Your custom is much appreciated.

Both my launch here in Wellington (17th August), and in Napier (5th September) were held under Alert Level 2 conditions and I thank attendees for making the effort to join me - and for adhering to the restrictions in place.

A Further Update regarding CreativeJax Classes & Events

Another month - another change.

They say variety is the spice of life!

Here's to a spicy life!

Hubby Roy was very recently asked to be the Project Director on a multi-million dollar electricity upgrade project in the South Island, and he has accepted the secondment into the role. This exciting - and challenging - project requires him to relocate to Central Otago (Cromwell) for approximately 18 months. He will have relocated down south before the end of October and will be doing some trips down before then too.

As for me, rather than relocate totally, I will split my time between being here in Whitby and being in Cromwell. The length and timing of where I will be located throughout the project is unpredictable at the moment - and not likely to be consistent over the time. As such, I find myself unable to commit to specific schedules for regular classes and events.

I am not leaving Stampin' Up! - just stepping back from it being a Full-Time Job.

I am cutting back on regular scheduled events, and I won't be starting classes up in Cromwell when I'm there. In fact I hope to get some sewing done when I'm in Cromwell!

Below are my CreativeJax Stampin' Up! commitments until the end of the year.

Technique Classes

As previously announced, I am no longer holding monthly Technique Classes, but several of my thINK Creative Team do hold regular classes. I've included some contact details below.

Memory Keeping / PaperCrafting Days

Monthly CreativeJax Memory Keeping and Paper Crafting gatherings will continue pretty much as scheduled until later this year. There have been some changes due to scheduling changes of events out of my control (shows and election). These have impacted on Hall availability.

In Hawkes Bay:

The remaining Crafting in the Bay 2020 dates are:

October - Saturday 3rd

November - no gathering due to Creative Escape and On Stage events

December - Saturday 5th

In 2021/2022, the Crafting in Bay Group will likely continue to meet monthly and if I am able to be in Hawkes bay, I will be there.

In the Wellington Region:

The remaining CreativeJax Memory Keeping & Paper Crafting 2020 dates are:

September - Saturday 19th - Mana

October - no gathering due to Expo & Election

November - tbc - no hall availability

December - tbc - Saturday 12th - Mana

In 2021/2022, I will not be scheduling regular gatherings.

Creative Escapes:

The October/November Creative Escape is scheduled and fully subscribed.

I am hoping to continue to hold these weekend Creative Escapes next year. The format may be different than previously.

Mini Creative Escapes:

I will not be hosting any Mini Creative Escapes in the foreseeable future - but member of the thINK Creative Team may do so and I will keep you informed of available options.

Wellington Paper Crafting Expo:

I will be an Exhibitor at the Wellington PaperCrafting Expo.

This has been postponed until Saturday 10th October - details below.

I will be holding my BOGO (Buy One Get One FREE) sale at the Expo and am currently sorting through my stash!

As usual, I will have members of the thINK Creative Team with me on the stand and I have encouraged them to bring information about their classes.

Stampin' Up! 2021 Incentive Trip

I also wanted to let you know that last month I achieved the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip to be held in May 2021. That is the sixth trip I have earned in the last six consecutive years!

For a number of reasons, I had decided not to actually go on the Incentive Trip to Maui this year (which I earned last year). Stampin' Up! postponed this year's trip due to the global pandemic and they have made adjustments to the trips in 2020, 2021 and 2022 .

So rather than being an Eastern Caribbean Cruise in May 2021 as originally scheduled - the trip I have just earned is a trip for two to Maui in May 2021, staying in the Grand Wailea for five days.

A huge thank you to those who support me in my business - I truly appreciate it and could certainly not have earned another trip without your ongoing support and encouragement. I am grateful.

Who knows what the world and travel will look like next year. But regardless of whether we actually get to travel - I am excited and proud to have earned the trip in a very challenging year. Our Stampin' Up! year started late in 2019 with the decline in my dear Dad's health following a fall and his subsequent death. Then there was 2020 - and we all know what that brought! So I am delighted - and somewhat amazed - to be part of the very small number of demonstrators globally who earn the trip.

Again - my thanks to all who have supported me in so many ways.
