Matching Fingerless Gloves, Cell Phone Holder and Coin Purse

For the last couple of weeks I've been having fun with the cross-over long double crochet stitch. It's like a cabled stitch, but it shows up on both sides of the fabric. I have several patterns with this stitch that still need to be tested before I can share them with you. But today, I have a pair of fingerless gloves, a cell phone holder and a cute little coin purse. The phone holder and coin purse are actually the same pattern, but with fewer repeats and so you will find them on the same page.

Fingerless Gloves

These gloves are designed to fit small hands, but with a thicker yarn and larger hook, they might fit an average-sized hand.

Cell Phone Holder and Coin Purse

The phone holder works up fast and measures 3" by 5" when laying flat. The matching coin purse measures 3" by 3" when laying flat. I have posted the instructions to crochet the cell phone holder first, and the special instructions for the coin purse right below.
