Sands Bethlehem
It sounds at least a little wrong, but casino gambling is coming to Bethlehem - Pennsylvania.  The Sands Bethlehem Casino Resort is scheduled to open its doors on May 22nd and hold special "Grand Opening" events on June 9th.  The casino was built on the site of the old Bethlehem Steel plant and hopes to be an example for future uses of similar "brownfield" sites elsewhere.  They'll open with
3,000 slot machines, a cafe, a pub and a "celebrity chef" steakhouse.  The resort's hotel is still in the planning stages, but there are several other options for overnight stays in Bethlehem.


Record Bookings of Carnival Cruises
Carnival Cruise Line reports that customers are responding in record numbers to recent discounts on cruises. The week ending March 1 had Carnival's highest bookings in history, and bookings are up 10% compared to last year. Don't miss out.
