Costa Cruises from Miami

Costa Cruises is known for voyages throughout Europe, but they're returning to the U.S. in 2011 with trips to the Caribbean out of Miami.  The Costa Atlantica will alternate 7-night voyages to the Eastern Caribbean and Western Caribbean from January 7th through March 18th. The Atlantica is a mid-sized ship with just over 1,000 guest rooms - including 54 suites and 620 balcony cabins.  The ship uses Italian cinema and opera for themes in the four restaurants and 12 bars/lounges.  Four swimming pools give you plenty of opportunities to get wet without going overboard.

New Orleans Cruise Ships

Carnival Cruise Line will move the Carnival Conquest and Carnival Ecstasy to New Orleans in 2011. This will restore the line to pre-Katrina capacity levels. Departures will be year-round. Royal Caribbean returns to New Orleans in 2011 too, with sailings on the Voyager of the Seas. Learn more about all the cruises from New Orleans at NewOrleansCruiseGuide.com.

This Week's New (or Improved) Hotels

The Staybridge Suites Oklahoma City Airport is the latest addition to the hotel supply in Oklahoma's capital city.  It's located on the southwest side of town, a short distance from Will Rogers International Airport.  They have three suite options: deluxe studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom with two bathrooms.

You'll probably be able to smell the tradition from your room at the new Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott South Bend At Notre Dame.  It's part of the 600,000 square foot "Eddy Street Commons" mixed-use project, located just south of the Notre Dame campus and right across the street from the football stadium.
