Panama Canal and 2010 Films Cruise

Famous film critic Leonard Maltin will be aboard the Coral Princess' December 15th holiday sailing, and will present his favorite films of 2010 throughout the cruise. Passengers will be able to view the films on the giant poolside Movies Under the Stars screeen or in the Princess Theater. The 15-day cruise sails from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles, with stops at Cartagena, Colombia; Fuerte Amador, Panama; Puntarenas, Costa Rica; Acapulco, Mexico; and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. This Week's New (or Improved) Hotels

The Four Points by Sheraton Galveston is now open on the Galveston Island waterfront.  The 118-room facility overlooking the Gulf of Mexico is an example of the latest Four Points design, featuring beds of a new level of comfort and sizeable work spaces in every room.  Amenities include an outdoor pool, free internet, free coffee in the lobby and dining at the on-site Oasis restaurant.
 
The big 407-room "Westin City Center" in Dallas is now the Dallas Marriott City Center.  Over the next 12 months the place will get a thorough renovation of guest rooms and public spaces.  In the meantime guests can still enjoy the Marriott's 15-story atrium filled with dining, retail and an indoor ice skating rink. The Marriott's 20,000+ square feet of meeting space ranges from 12 small meeting rooms to the 8,000+ square foot Plaza Ballroom.
