Cunard Mediterranean Cruises 2012

The Cunard Line announced its Mediterranean cruises for 2012, and the schedule includes round-trip cruises from New York. The 24-day "Grand Iberian Highlights" cruises depart August 28 and November 27, 2012 for the eastern Mediterranean. A 30-day "Grand Mediterranean Gems" cruise departs New York on October 28, 2012 to visit Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Rome, Capri, Athens, Valencia, Malaga, and London. Cunard also offers more traditional departures from Southampton, England; Venice, Italy; Rome, Italy; and Athens, Greece.

This Week's New (or Improved) Hotels

The newest addition to the Birmingham, Alabama area is the Holiday Inn Birmingham-Hoover.  It's got all the latest Holiday Inn amenities in the newest version of the Holiday Inn brand design.  It's on the south side of the Birmingham metro area, near the town of Hoover.

 

Located on State Street on the north side of downtown Chicago, the Embassy Suites Chicago-Downtown is the beneficiary of a $12.3 million renovation. All 367 of their suites were overhauled with new carpeting, workstations, two HDTVs (32" and 40") and upgraded bathrooms.
